Niagara Motorcycle Raceway, operated by the not-for-profi Welland County Motorcycle Club (WCMC, is located south-east of Welland, Ontario. It is Canada's most prestigious 1/4 mile oval dirt race track. The track is specifically designed and built for motorcycle racing, and features thrilling Dirt Track, Speedway, ATV and Youth Class racing every Saturday night from mid June to the end of July. 905-834-8255.
Ransomville Speedway (2315 Braley Road, Ransomville, NY 14131)
hosts DIRT Sanctioned stock racing Friday nights May-September. Modified, Sportsman, Prostock and Streetstock divisions. Roll-over and Demolition derby event featured throughout the season (716) 791-3602.
Humberstone Speedway (formerly "Gasport International Speedway") s 3 kilometers east of Port Colborne, Ontario on Highway 3
has races on Sundays, April to September (Admission: 12 & Under Free) hosts Sportsman, Street Stock, Mini-Stock, 4-Cylinder Truck races from April to September.
Merrittville Speedway has been in operation since 1952 just off the Merrittville Highway, south of Thorold, ON (between St Catharines & Welland, only 12 miles from the US border at Niagara Falls)
is a 3/8 mile banked clay track and hosts racing in 5 classes every Saturday night from April to September.
They also have Empire Super Sprint Shows, thrill shows, and the ever popular demolition derbies.

There is an annual rodeo in Virgil Stampede each May long weeekend, and in Welland at the start of September each year.

The Fort Erie Race Track and Slots are one of the premier thoroughbred horse racing tracks in Canada. It hosts the Prince of Wales Stakes Race at the end of July, which is the second leg of the Canadian triple Crown.
Royal Canadian Henley Rowing Regatta
The Royal Canadian Henley Regatta (held at Henley Island, St. Catharines, ON) is Canadian rowing's annual showcase, and has been running for over 120 years.
It annually attracts over 3,500 competitors from more than 100 rowing clubs and universities
from all over the world, who enter crews in 82 rowing categories for this five-day competition.
